Today was the first day L had to come home at lunch time to feed Atticus and let him outside to go potty. Aunt Bridget came along for the ride and fell in love with Atticus. For a special treat, Atticus got to go to Mummy L's work for the afternoon to meet lots of new people. Atticus leapt into the arms of Aunt Libby and kissed her so much she didn't know if he was coming or going. Then he got to meet Julia, Dan, Abhi and Tamika. Abhi was a little afraid of this big ferocious puppy but enjoyed giving Atticus a 'fro. We all saw a softer side of Dan when we noticed that there was a little tear in the corner of his eye as he snuggled with Atticus. Then, he got to go meet all of Mummy L's friends in the department and get lots of attention and kisses. Atticus doesn't know why Mummy L complains about rush hour traffic on the schuylkill expressway, he just curled up on his blankie and went to sleep for the ride home. Atticus can't wait to go back to the lab!
